Is a small village on the outskirts of York, in the North of England is a village called Dunnington It is known for it’s good weather, and as “the fruit bowl” of the country.
It is also where my parents in law live. Whilst over for a visit I had time to walk around their gorgeous garden.
They have lived in their home since 1964, it being where their children grew up, but as the children have moved away it has allowed Michael to turn the garden into a plant haven rather than a childs play area.
In places it is slightly overgrown adding to the naturalistic planting and relaxed atmosphere.
In the front garden there is a pond and pear tree. It is all very beautiful.
