silver birch christmas tree

Christmas Tree….

made of silver birch…. and a bit of string.

Not much space for a tree this year in the conservatory, as there is a bed settee which is going to be needed at New Year…………… so I improvised.

A quick wander in the woods at the side of our field, and I found some silver birch branches which has broken off the tree, so I didn’t even need to cut any down.

It is in a boggy area and the trees struggle to grow.

Unlike the moss, lichen and fungus.

There was only 1 branch that needed cutting the rest were the right size.  Once I had strung it up, I hung it in the window. It was heavier than a thought it would be.

I then added the lights and some decoration of fruit baubles and birds.

Merry Christmas
