Even though we are out of the Easter holiday season it is still really busy here, so I decided to head out for a walk away from the madding crowds, but still with views of Windermere.
Winster is a small village close to Bowness on Windermere, but using the back roads I can get there with little traffic.
So I headed off along tracks and drives, the Lake is a distance away, but the fells behind looked fantastic.
I then headed off through woods.
I found fantastic trees including an old yew and hawthorn.
I don’t need to describe the walk, the pictures speak for themselves, it was a lovely sunny day, which ended with a cold glass of white wine in the Brown Horse.
