Woodland Walks

I cannot belive that we are half way through May, how did that happen. And so far this year I have not posted a picture of bluebells; one of the great joys of living in the countryside.

And this year has been stunning.  I think they were earlier this year, but there has been little rain, they then did start to fade, only for the rain to come in last Sunday, and the bluebells bounce back.  The Ransom is also growing madly.

I just did a local walk, Bowston to Staveley, through the bluebell woods, and along the river.
